The Adaptive Range Of Ultrasonic Knife
Leave a message
Mainly suitable for abdominal, pelvic and body surface tumors. It mainly includes: pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, bone tumor, benign and malignant tumors of kidney and adrenal gland, stomach cancer, rectal cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, prostate hyperplasia, bladder cancer, uterine cancer, uterine fibroids, uterine adenomyoma, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, various abdominal and pelvic metastatic cancers, etc.
At a depth of 3-15cm from the body surface, most of the solid tumors in the abdominal cavity and the body surface can be treated with ultrasound focusing. It can also be applied to patients who are old and frail, or have obvious complications of other organs (such as liver, kidney, pancreas, etc.) and other obvious contraindications. For middle and advanced tumors, in addition to killing the primary tumor cells locally, radiotherapy and chemotherapy can also be combined to improve the therapeutic effect of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. For tumors that cannot be resected by surgery, are not sensitive to radiotherapy or chemotherapy, or relapse after surgery, and are unwilling to undergo surgical resection again, high-intensity focused ultrasound knife can shrink or necrosis the tumor entity, which is conducive to relieving symptoms, improving patients' living conditions, improving body immunity and the quality of life of patients.
When ultrasound is transmitted in the human body, ultrasonic energy is absorbed by human tissues and converted into heat energy (when in the sun, light waves are absorbed and converted into heat energy by the human body). Normal human tissues can take away most of the heat through effective blood circulation, so the temperature change of normal tissues is relatively small and slow, but the blood circulation of tumor tissues is only 2%-15% of that of normal tissues. The blood circulation is poor because it is not heat resistant and the temperature changes dramatically. This characteristic of tumor cells makes them an excellent target for the "ultrasonic knife".
